アーケード用2D格闘ACT『ブレイブルーコンティニュアムシフト』のコンシューマ移植作。新キャラクターとして、ツバキ=ヤヨイ、ハザマ、μ-No12-(ミュー・トゥエルブ)などが追加された他、本作の基本操作や独自システムを音声解説で学べる”TUTORIAL”、より実践的な立ち回りや連続技をキャラクター別にミッション形式でチャレンジしていく”CHALLENGE”、マップ内のマスに配置されているすべての敵を倒していく”LEGION”なども搭載されている。前作『ブレイブルー』でも好評だったストーリーモードは、前作を超える想定プレイ時間30時間の大ボリュームの内容を収録。アーケード版のエンディングのその後を描いたものや、アーケード版では語られなかった真のストーリーなどが全編フルボイスで楽しめる。
